31 Days Series: Day 8

 Slime-Ade
This a fun drink you can serve with your Mummy Dogs or any dinner or snack to make it a little more festive! My girls picked out the Halloween goblets at the Dollar Tree but you can use any glasses you have at home.

Supplies:
-2 cups of white grape juice
-2 cups of apple juice
-12 to 15 drops of neon green food coloring
-4 to 7 drops of neon blue food coloring
-2 cups of seltzer
-1/4 cup light corn syrup -optional
-gummy worms-optional

Directions:
1. In a pitcher, mix the white grape juice and apple juice.
2.  Add 10 to 12 drops neon-green food coloring.  Then add 3 to 5 drops of the neon-blue food coloring.
3.  Stir.
4.  Add seltzer; set aside.
 5.  If you want to make "slime," pour corn syrup into a bowl (wide enough for the rim of a glass). Stir in 2 to 3 drops neon-green food coloring and 1 to 2 drops of neon-blue food coloring.
Dip the rims of up to 6 glasses into syrup. Turn glasses upright.
Note: You can do this ahead of time but be sure to store "slimed" glasses in a cool, dry place.
6. Fill each glass with juice/seltzer mixture. Garnish with gummy worms if you like.

**I made the slime to run down the sides of the glasses but next time I think I'll skip this step.  It ended up dripping everywhere and my kids couldn't pick up their glasses without getting "slime" all over their hands.  Turned out to be a little too messy for me :)
