31 Days Series: Day 6

 Monster Mouths
These are such a fun snack to make with kids of all ages.  You might have seen these or even made these before using marshmallows for the teeth but we added the candy corn to make it more of a Halloween treat.  This is also a very cheap snack.  You can slice your own apples and you probably already have peanut butter or something similar (almond butter, etc) in your pantry so they only thing you might need to buy is the candy corn...and it's pretty cheap.

Supplies:
-apple slices (2 per mouth) We used red apples for the lips but if you have green, use those, they can be "witch lips."
-peanut butter
-candy corn (5 pieces per mouth)

Directions:
1.  Get two slices of apples and spread peanut butter on one side of one of the slices.
2.  Arrange about 5 pieces of candy corn on the slice with the peanut butter on it.  We did the two outside pieces pointing down (like fangs) and the middle three pointed up.
3.  Spread peanut butter on one side of your other apple slice.
 4.  Put the second apple slice on top of the first one to make a "mouth."
